According to my AD partner, I’ve got the gift of hustle.
I’ve been known to network with abandon at the dog park, on airplanes, via Slack, and at many an industry event. Over the years, I’ve developed a reputation for pitching ideas (and pushing them further than the client ever envisioned), yielding big results.
According to me, I’ve also got the gift of guts.
Once, I quit a job in Boston and boarded a train in a snowstorm to move to NYC, leapt into full-time freelance, spent 6 months soaking up the Spanish of Mexico City, submitted an essay to a literary journal, moved back to NYC, and perhaps gutsiest of all… posted about some of it on LinkedIn.
